Neighborhood House Executive Director, Pam Rice, received the 2008 Molly Leonard Community Service Award on September 13. The award, given
during the District 5 Community Celebration, honors those who have dedicated themselves to building a better community.
Rice came to Portland 6 years ago as the Executive Director of Neighborhood House. Since that time, she has worked hard to restore and bring
more services to the families of the Portland community. Rice truly cares about the children, senior citizens and families of the neighborhood
and she has worked tirelessly to get support to deal with some of the challenges we face every day.
Brian Riendeau, Chair of the Board of Directors of Neighborhood House, says under Pam’s direction Neighborhood House has made a number of improvements.
"We are proud to have such a dedicated leader not only for Neighborhood House, but also for the entire Portland community."
