The 2016 Neighborhood House Golf Scramble Presented by Isaacs & Isaacs
On Monday, August 22nd, Neighborhood House held its annual golf scramble at Hunting Creek Country Club. This year’s competition was presented by Isaacs & Isaacs, and with 68 golfers from some of Louisville’s top companies, it was a tremendous success. We are happy to report that we raised $19,885 to support children and families living in and around Portland. Blue skies overhead and the sun shining down, our golfers were treated to a delicious lunch from Texas Roadhouse with Brown-Forman featuring a signature cocktail, Old Forester Lemonade. With bragging rights on the line, our golfers took to the course. While the tough course challenged even the most confident of golfers, Brandon Egan and the team from BB&T Insurance Services ended the day at the top of the leaderboard to be crowned winners of the 2016 Neighborhood House Golf Scramble. The team captained by Mr. C. David Phelps and the team from KFC rounded out the top three.
On behalf of all of the children, families and seniors that Neighborhood House serves, as well as the staff and the Board, we would like to thank all of our wonderful supporters. We truly could not have had such a wonderful day without your help. Special thanks to: Isaacs & Isaacs, Brown-Forman, Anthem BlueCross BlueShield, Texas Roadhouse, Gelato Gilberto, Dr. Vicki Hines-Martin, NTS Development and Cornerstone Engineering. We would also like thank the members of our golf scramble committee for their hours of work: Carol Coldiron, Jim Rogers, David Bryant, Dustin Bell, Tom and Valerie Kokai and Shirley Jasper.
