New Year, Same Commitment | January 2023 New & Good

This month, we're getting back in the groove with some regular winter activities, like Bingo for the senior members and classroom adventures in the Child Development Center.

December was full of holiday parties, traditions, caroling, and field trips. We are now three years into the COVID-19 pandemic, and it's times like these that remind us how grateful we are to celebrate together as a community. We are excited to keep making lasting memories for our kids and families in 2023.

Child Development Center's Special Guest

A very special guest visited the Child Development Center last month. That's right, Santa made the trip all the way from the North Pole to spread some holiday cheer! The youngest members of Neighborhood House had a busy morning making their very own gingerbread houses and getting gifts from Mr. Claus himself.

Senior Member Holiday Party

The Four Seasons Senior Program members got all spruced up for their annual holiday party. From Bingo and door prizes to dancing and a delicious lunch, Seniors enjoyed having fun together while dressing in their holiday best.

A Cookie Tradition

Another fun holiday tradition was checked off in December. Members got creative and decorated cookies provided by the culinary students at Moore High School. Neighborhood House volunteer Ms. Robin leads this activity every year, and it's always a big hit for Neighborhood House kids of every age.
