September Neighbor Nite

Last Thursday was a great night for community as Neighborhood House hosted our monthly Neighbor Nite. Held on the third Thursday of each month, Neighborhood House families come together to hear from community partners, enjoy a hot meal, and spend time together. Join us from 5:30-7:30 PM at our upcoming Neighbor Nites:

  • October 20th
  • November 16th
  • December 21st

In the News

As the country prepares for a potential government shutdown, we are working to meet families' needs if they lose WIC or SNAP benefits. Learn more about the effects of the shutdown on Neighborhood House members in this story from WHAS 11. Want to help families stretch their grocery budgets? Our Emergency Food Bank needs donations of baby items and pantry staples:

  • Baby formula (Similac preferred)
  • Baby food and cereal
  • Diapers and pull-ups
  • Pasta and pasta sauce
  • Canned meat
  • Rice and beans

Join in on the fun here at Neighborhood House!

  1. Fall Festival: Join us for an evening of fun, food, and community on Friday, October 13th from 4:00-7:00 PM. Stop by and spend some time in the neighborhood or sign up to volunteer! We're looking for 15 volunteers to help lead activities throughout the evening. Sign up here: https://forms.gle/S84pvcSnQUNhACWP7
  2. Warm Their Soles Sock Drive: As the cold weather approaches, members in the Four Seasons Senior Program are leading a sock drive for the homeless in our community. Help Neighborhood House prepare for the winter weather by donating new or gently used adult or children's socks. Donations can be dropped off anytime through December.
