In partnership with Kosair for Kids and the Face It Movement, Neighborhood House has been able to offer consistent opportunities and experiences that create strong and healthy families. Each month, on the third Thursday, Neighborhood House hosts Neighbor Nite. This event is an opportunity for members, neighbors, and community organizations to come together to spend time with one another, enjoy a hot meal, have fun, and learn about important resources.
Each month features a theme that highlights history or opportunities to get connected in the community. April's Neighbor Nite theme centered around summer readiness, presenting youth and their parents with exciting options for summer programming around Louisville. The Face It Movement works to prevent child abuse by promoting best practices for those who serve children and families, spreading awareness throughout the Commonwealth, and advocating for policy change at the local and state level.
