Financial literacy program update

The Humana Foundation recently announced a generous grant to Metro United Way to support financial literacy in our community. We are thrilled to be one of the seven agencies chosen to take part in this initiative!

Thanks to them, we will be able to provide economically distressed families with the skills and resources they need to put them on the path to financial independence.

The coaching program was originally developed through a partnership between Neighborhood House and MUW in 2014, and we can’t wait to relaunch this important part of our programming. We are currently accepting applications for a full-time financial coach to bring this project to life. More information and details on applying can be found here.
