Dreamers' Academy
Every day during the summer, kids from kindergarten through high school fill the hallways of Neighborhood House for Dreamers' Academy. Part of the summer curriculum is spent on social-emotional learning and academic growth. In the afternoons members spend time with teaching artists in visual art, music therapy, and photography. Kids visit the Parklands twice a week to have fun and spend time in nature. Everyone's favorite day is field trip Fridays, where our members experience local museums, swimming, roller skating, bowling, and more!
Four Season Senior Program
We are celebrating this month in the Four Seasons Senior Program. Ms. Cherry won a Senior Games bronze medal! In a real "twinkle to the wrinkle" moment, some of our youngest members stopped by to deliver hugs on their way to the playground. Senior members are enjoying playing Bingo and card games together this summer.
Child Development Center
With the weather heating up, young members in the Child Development Center are spending plenty of time outside on the natural playground. From flying kites to digging for worms, we learn through play here at Neighborhood House. The CDC is also gearing up for preschool graduation, plus the annual luau.
