The Cutest Pumpkin Patch

Our Child Development Center kids had a visit from Side By Side Studio, who created the ultimate pumpkin experience! Our natural playground was turned into a pumpkin patch where CDC members picked their very own pumpkins. After finding the perfect pumpkin, they got to decorate it on the coolest art bus in town. They even got to create their very own potions, too! A huge thank you to Side by Side Studio for creating memories for and with Neighborhood Houses' youngest members!

Shopping with the Seniors

This month, senior members visited the Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass in Simpsonville, Kentucky. They spent the day finding the best deals and enjoying each others' company.

If you're still interested in shopping one of the yard sales hosted by the Four Seasons Senior Program, you're in luck! The yard sale planned for Saturday, November 5th was rained out and is rescheduled for this Saturday, November 12th. Stop by Neighborhood House from 9 am - 2 pm to find some cool stuff and support the Senior Program.

Youth Haunted Hallway

A favorite October tradition at Neighborhood House is the Youth Development Program's Haunted Hallway. The teens spend days gathering and setting up decorations, creating props, and choosing which terrifying monster to be. A couple of days before Halloween finishing touches are added, and then it's show time!

Neighbor Nite

We can't believe it's been six months since our very first Neighbor Nite. Time flies when you're having fun, in good company, and breaking bread together as a community. Some community partners who have connected with members at Neighborhood House include The Housing Partnership, Norton Healthcare, The Office for Safe and Healthy Neighborhoods, Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, and more. Thank you to Kosair Charities and the Face It Movement for their support of Neighbor Nites.
